| "Colors" is a series of 350 acrylic paintings on panel, each 5"x7", completed during the three year period 2006-2008. These are abstract excursions into color and light and in many respects are small versions of the large paintings on canvas from previous decades.
These works are intended to be displayed as an installation of up to hundreds of panels, creating a montage of colors and shapes. The first public exhibition of this body of work is scheduled to be shown at Bert Green Fine Art in Los Angeles in November and December of 2008. This installation will be comprised of approximately 250 panels which will be configured to form a single line that winds through the various spaces of the entire gallery, a distance of approximately 240 linear feet. The panels will be wall mounted without frames. While the overall presentation is intended to be viewed as one work of art, individual panels will be available. |
